As a woodcarver for over 40 years, Jeffrey Zankel's sculpture work continues to inspire those lucky enough to view them in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Having studied in Spain, with mentor George Nobl, Jeffrey continues to work on public and private pieces.

After a career in Bay Area high tech for several decades, Jeffrey has had group shows in Sebastopol, California and recently had a 15 foot public mobile in Ives Park. 

 

Working with Sculpture Jam for several years on the public work, The Whales Tail, which is now on display in downtown Cloverdale. In addition, Jeffrey has finished a 10 piece marine series including some large work, including a stainless steel Loggerhead turtle.
